Welcome to the ASU Ju-Jitsu Website

The ASU Ju-Jitsu club has been practicing on campus at ASU since 1976. We practice a traditional Japanese Aiki Ju-Jitsu. Classes are currently offered as a fitness class through the Student Recreation Complex, taught by Sensei Chris Christian and Sensei Jim Palmer.  More information on our style of Ju-Jitsu, our instructors, joining our club, photos of our members, and contact information can be found using the links on the left.  We accept new students at the beginning of each semester; prospective students should read the "New Students" section for class times, fees, and other information.  Videos of club members during practice can be found at http://www.youtube.com/user/asujujitsu, or in the video gallery.

Spring Registration

We will be taking new students at the start of the spring semester, for a full 16 week spring program (see the calendar).  The spring program begins on January 20th, and registration will be open until February 8th, with an additional $5 late registration fee starting on February 2nd.  Class is free until the end of registration, and new students are encouraged to show up and try some classes.

Registration is open to everyone. To sign up in person, simply go to the administration desk in the student recreation complex. The SRC administration desk is located in the north west corner of the SRC lobby, and is open from 8 AM to 6 PM Monday through Thursday, and 8 AM to 5 PM on Fridays. The fall program costs $50 for students, $60 for non-student SRC members, and $75 for non-SRC members.  Any person not signed up before the administration desk closes on February 8th will not be able to practice with us in the Spring (but we will accept new students again next Fall).  Please be sure to request the instructional class and not a sport club when signing up, verify that you were charged the correct amount before you leave, and keep your receipt in case there are any errors on the roster.
